Charity

1 Corinthians 13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Charity is Love in action

When Jesus received the gift of the five loaves and two fishes he blessed it and then shared it, and a miracle occured.

The humble gift of the five loaves and two fishes was shared with the multitude and then there was enough to feed over five thousand people. Had Jesus and His disciples kept the gift for themselves there would have been no multiplication of the gift, no miracle.

Miracles happen when we take the focus off ourself and instead focus on the needs of others. Miracles happen when we share our gifts. The Word of God says, it is more blessed to give than to receive, Acts 20:35

When we release blessings, blessings are multiplied. That is why when we pray for others our prayers are answered in amazing ways.
